Accompanying level 2: Accompanying driver sworn and specifically trained in accordance with Section 97 Paragraph 2 of the Road Traffic Act with a certified vehicle, equipped with traffic control equipment, vehicle and handheld radio, telephone and extensive safety equipment.

Accompanying level 3: as with level 2, but with two companions with two vehicles.

Accompanying level 4: comprehensive security by a level 1 accompanying driver, two level 2 companions and a specially trained companion who is authorized to use blue lights.

HIPO: Specialist trained escort driver appointed as an auxiliary police officer, with a vehicle equipped with, among other things, yellow rotating lights and the inscription "HILFSPOLIZEI", vehicle and handheld radio, telephone and extensive safety equipment.
